No trip to our area known as Grey Bruce (Grey County & Bruce County) would be complete without a visit to the Grotto located up the Bruce Peninsula at the National Park. An hour north of Owen Sound along the Bruce Trail natural limestone caves are located next to the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay. The colours of the rock in the clear water was deemed the most picturesque place in all of Ontario several years ago. Plan a visit during the week to avoid the crowds. Brice a camera so you don’t miss the wild Orchids found along the road into the Grotto early in the year.
